723 परिवारों को दिया मुआवजा जाएगा। सिर्फ दो होटल ही ढहाए जाएंगे। किसी अन्य भवन पर ध्वस्तीकरण की कार्रवाई नहीं होगी। दो होटलों के पास रहने वाले पांच परिवारों पर सबसे अधिक असर पड़ने की आशंका है। वहीं मलारी इन और माउंट व्यू होटल के बाहर व्यापारियों को धरना-प्रदर्शन जारी है। लोगों में सरकार द्वारा तय कम मुआवजे को लेकर आक्रोश है। प्रभावितों ने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार राहत के नाम पर दर्द दे रही है।

कुछ व्यापारियों ने की सेटलमेंट की बात
प्रति परिवार डेढ़ लाख रुपये मुआवजा देगी सरकार लेकिन प्रभावित इसके लिए नहीं तैयार। मुख्यमंत्री के सचिव आर मीनाक्षी सुंदरम के साथ एक घंटे तक चली बैठक में व्यापारियों और प्रभावितों ने रखी अपनी बात। नुकसान के आकलन के अनुसार वास्तविक क्षति की पूर्ति के बराबर राशि दरकार। कुछ व्यापारियों ने की सेटलमेंट की बात। 

धरने पर बैठे प्रभावित
प्रशासन के साथ बैठक में मुआवजे को लेकर बात नहीं बनने के बाद प्रभावित धरने पर बैठ गए। लोगों का विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी है। अभी तक सिर्फ दो होटल के डिस्मेंटल का आदेश जारी किया गया है। जबिक अन्य भवनों को नहीं तोड़ा जाएगा।

जोशीमठ मलारी इन के मालिक ठाकुर सिंह राणा ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री के प्रमुख सचिव के साथ बैठक हुई। उन्होंने कहा कि बदरीनाथ की तर्ज़ पर मुआवजा नहीं मिलेगा, लेकिन मार्केट रेट पर होगा। हमने बोला कि मार्केट रेट बता दें लेकिन उन्होंने कहा कि नहीं बता सकते तो हमने कहा कि हम भी नहीं उठेंगे।
