देहरादून। गांधी रोड पर तहसील चैक से सहारनपुर चैक तक चैड़ीकरण में प्रभावित लोगों के मुआवजे और आढ़त बाजार  शिफ्टिंग के लिए एमडीडीए ने 145 करोड़ के बजट को मंजूरी दे दी है। इसमें आढ़त बाजार के अलावा अन्य प्रभावित व्यापारियों और भवन स्वामियों को मुआवजे के लिए 90 करोड़ का प्रावधान किया गया है। जबकि नए बाजार के लिए प्रस्तावित जगह का लेआउट पास करने और भूमि को विकसित करने के लिए 55 करोड़ रूपये का बजट बोर्ड ने स्वीकृत किया।

बाॅटलनेक आढ़त बाजार को शिफट करने के लिए दुकानों का सर्वे पहले ही पूरा हो चुका है। आढ़त बाजार के अलावा तहसील चैक से सहारनपुर चैक तक कुल 356 दुकानें चिन्हित की गई है। नए बाजार का लेआउट तैयार करने का काम एमडीडीए के अधिकारी और चयनित आर्किटेक्ट ने शुरू कर दिया है। पुराने बाजार में दो दुकानें टूटीनी हैं जो सड़क का चैड़ीकरण होना है, उसकी डीपीआर बनाने का काम लोक निर्माण विभाग कर रहा है। एमडीडीए ने इस कड़ी में अपनी बोर्ड बैठक में बजट का प्रस्ताव पास कर अहम फैसला लिया। अब योजना का काम जल्द शुरू होने की उम्मीद है। रेलवे, परिवहन विभाग, द्रोण होटल ‘‘पर्यटन विभाग’’ आदि जिन सरकारी विभागों की जमीनें योजना के दायरे में आ रही है, उनसे पत्राचार किया जा रहा है। उपाध्यक्ष एमडीडीए बंशीधर तिवारी ने बताया कि बाजार  शिफ्टिंग का काम जल्द से जल्द शुरू हो, इसके लिए प्राधिकरण हर संभव कदम उठ रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि मुआवजे के साथ ही नए प्रस्तावित बाजार से जुड़े कार्यों जैसे सड़क बनाने, प्लााॅटिंग आदि के कार्य के लिए बजट मंजूर कर दिया है।
