देहरादून। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और चुनाव प्रचार अभियान समिति के अध्यक्ष हरीश रावत व कांग्रेस के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल अपने समर्थकों के साथ सचिवालय के बाहर सड़क पर धरने पर बैठे। कांग्रेस की मांग है कि हाल ही में भारी बारिश व अतिवृष्टि से कुमांऊ व गढ़वाल मंडल में भारी जनहानि व आर्थिक नुकसान हुआ। हजारों लोग बेघर हो गए हैं। प्रदेश सरकार इस प्राकृतिक आपदा को लेकर गंभीर नहीं है।
पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत ने मीडिया से बातचीत में सरकार पर हमला बोला। कहा कि प्रदेश की जनता आपदा से करा रही है और पूरी सरकार व मशीनरी गृहमंत्री अमित शाह की दून में प्रस्तवित रैली की तैयारियों में जुटी है, जो प्रदेश की जनता के साथ मजाक है। सचिवालय रोड पर धरने से पहले कांग्रेस नेता व कार्यकर्त्ता राजपुर रोड स्थित कांग्रेस भवन से विरोध प्रर्दशन के साथ निकले। कांग्रेसियों ने प्रदेश सरकार व केंद्र की मोदी सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की। धरना स्थल पर कांग्रेस के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल ने कहा कि प्राकृतिक आपदा के समय भी भाजपा राजनीति करने से बाज नहीं आ रही है जो घोर निंदनीय है।
