नए साल का जश्न मनाने ऋषिकेशआए 28 पर्यटकों के कोरोना संक्रमित मिलने से प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग में हड़कंप मच गया। सभी पर्यटक घर वापस लौट चुके हैं। स्वास्थ विभाग पर्यटकों को फोन कर उनके संपर्क में आए स्थानीय लोगों की जानकारी जुटा रहा है।

सोमवार को पौड़ी स्वास्थ विभाग को मिली आरटीपीसीआर जांच की रिपोर्ट में लक्ष्मण झूला घूमने आए 28 पर्यटक कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए। 31 दिसंबर को इन पर्यटकों के सैंपल लिए गए थे। यमकेश्वर ब्लॉक के कोविड नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. राजीव कुमार ने बताया कि कोरोना संक्रमित पर्यटक दिल्ली, हरियाणा और उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ व मुजफ्फरनगर के रहने वाले हैं।

उन्होंने बताया कि सभी पर्यटक वापस अपने घर लौट चुके हैं। पर्यटकों के संक्रमित मिलने की सूचना संबंधित जिले के स्वास्थ्य विभाग को भेज दी गई है। वहीं संक्रमित को फोन कर उनके संपर्क में आए स्थानीय लोगो के बारे में जानकारी एकत्र की जा रही है। संक्रमित पर्यटक जिस होटल, जंगल कैंप और होमस्टे में रुके थे, वहां के सभी कर्मचारियों की कोरोना जांच के लिए सैंपल लिए जाएंगे।
