नैनीताल: नैनीताल में रैमजे अस्पताल के समीप एलबनी कंपाउंड क्षेत्र में बंद घर के भीतर आग लग गई। लोगों की सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस और फायर कर्मियों की तत्परता के कारण समय रहते आग पर काबू लिया गया। जिससे बड़ा हादसा होने से टल गया। इलेक्ट्रिक कंबल के सुलगने के चलते आग लगने का कारण बताया जा रहा है।

जानकारी के मुताबिक एलबनी कंपाउंड तल्लीताल क्षेत्र में अनिल गुरुरानी का हरीनिवास नाम से अपना आवास है। रविवार सुबह अनिल गुरुरानी अपने परिवार के साथ गुजरात में एक शादी समारोह में शामिल होने के लिए निकल गए। सोमवार सुबह पड़ोसियों ने उनके बंद घर से धुआं उठते देखा तो 112 पर पुलिस को सूचना दी। सूचना के बाद तल्लीताल चीता कॉन्स्टेबल शिवराज राणा और फायर ब्रिगेड की टीम मौके पर पहुंची।

जहां बंद करके खिड़कियों से धुंआ निकल रहा था। दरवाजे का ताला तोड़ पुलिसकर्मी भीतर पहुंची तो देखा कि कमरे के भीतर लगा बेड जलकर राख हो चुका है। पुलिस और फायर कर्मियों ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए किसी तरह आग पर काबू पाया। तल्लीताल एसओ रोहिताश सिंह सागर ने बताया कि कमरे में इलेक्ट्रिक कंबल जला हुआ मिला है।

कंबल के आन रहने के कारण बिस्तर ने आग पकड़ ली। गनीमत रही कि समय रहते सूचना मिलने पर आग पर काबू पा लिया गया, नहीं तो आग पूरे कमरे में फैल सकती थी। आग पर काबू पाने में एफएसएसओ चंदन राम आर्य, एलएफएम अमर सिंह, प्रकाश मेहता, भूपाल मेहता, नीरज कुमार, विक्रांत सिंह, मोहम्मद उमर, राजेंद्र सिंह समेत अन्य कर्मी मौजूद रहे।
