नैनीताल : जिला मुख्यालय के समीपवर्ती रौखड़ गांव में सड़क का सपना अधूरा रह गया है। आजादी के सात दशक बाद भी स्वादिष्ट व पौष्टिक गडेरी के लिए प्रसिद्ध इस गांव में सड़क नहीं होने से ग्रामीण पलायन करने लगे हैं तो सड़क सुविधा नहीं होने से शादी-ब्याह समेत अन्य कामकाज में रिश्तेदार आने से कन्नी काटने लगे हैं।

मंगोली से नौ किमी दूर जलालगांव-देचौरी नौ किमी सड़क से आगे सात किमी सड़क निर्माण का भूमि पूजन पिछले साल जुलाई में तत्कालीन विधायक संजीव आर्य ने किया था। वन भूमि हस्तांतरण की लंबी प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद सड़क निर्माण शुरू हुआ तो ग्रामीणों को उम्मीद जगी कि अब उनके भी दिन बहुरेंगे। उत्पादों को सही दाम मिलेगा और बच्चों को शिक्षा के लिए स्कूल पैदल नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। ग्रामीणों ने सड़क के लिए लंबा संघर्ष भी किया। जनप्रतिनिधियों, अफसरों के दरबार में हाजिरी दी, लेकिन छह माह में सड़क निर्माण के लिए केवल एक किलोमीटर ही पहाड़ी काटी जा सकी है। अब हालात ये हो गए हैं कि सड़क अभाव में ग्रामीण पलायन की सोचने लगे हैं।

करीब पांच सौ की आबादी वाले इस गांव में पैदा होने वाली गडेरी पूरे जिले में प्रसिद्ध है। चौतरफा हरे-भरे वनों से घिरे इस गांव में प्राकृतिक संपदा भरपूर है। खेती के लिए उपजाऊ भूमि है लेकिन आजादी के सात दशक बाद भी सड़क सपना बनी हुई है। ग्राम प्रधान योगेश्वर जीना बताते हैं कि जुलाई में भूमि पूजन के बाद अब तक एक किमी सड़क का कटान हो सका है। उन्होंने बताया कि सड़क बनाने में हो रही हीलाहवाली की शिकायत मुख्यमंत्री के शिकायत पोर्टल में भी की गई लेकिन कोई नतीजा नहीं निकला।

वहीं, पूर्व विधायक संजीव आर्य का कहना है कि रौखड़ के लिए सड़क निर्माण के लिए वन भूमि हस्तांतरण की लंबी प्रक्रिया पूरी कराई गई। उन्होंने कहा कि लोनिवि अभियंताओं ने मजबूत चट्टान के कटान में आ रही कठिनाइयों को सड़क निर्माण की धीमी प्रगति के लिए जिम्मेदार माना है।
