रामनगर। ऑफिस में एसी की हवा का आनंद लेते अफसरों को तो सभी ने देखा होगा मगर ऐसे अफसर बिरले ही देखे होंगे जिन्होंने चिलचिलाती गर्मी या फिर कंपकपा देने वाली सर्दी की परवाह किए बिना पर्यावरण संरक्षण को ही अपना मकसद बना लिया हो। दफ्तर में साप्ताहिक अवकाश हो या फिर राष्ट्रीय अवकाश इसका उपयोग युवा अधिकारियों की टीम रामनगर के आसपास के क्षेत्रों में जंगल स्थापित करने में जुटी रहती है। टीम में शामिल लोग वन विभाग के अधिकारी नहीं हैं। पिछले पांच सालों में यह लोग आठ हजार से अधिक पौधे लगा चुके हैं। इन पौधों के संरक्षण करने में भी यह लोग जुटे रहे, जिसका परिणाम यह है कि इनके द्वारा अब जंगल का रूप लेने लगे हैं।

इन क्षेत्रों में किया पौधारोपण

बीते पांच सालों में इस टीम ने यहां गर्जिया झूलापुल, आमडंडा, टेड़ा गांव स्थित कोसी पार्क और बेलगढ़ में फाइकस गार्डन में पौधरोपण किया गया। इसके अलावा सरकारी स्कूलों, विभागीय कार्यालयों, खाली पड़ी जमीन पर पौधे रोपे गए।

पौंधरोपण के साथ देखभाल भी जरूरी

टीम में शामिल पीएनबी के मुख्य प्रबंधक रहे प्रभास चंद्र कहते हैं कुछ लोग पौधरोपण महज दिखावे के लिए करते हैं। इस कारण देखरेख के अभाव में पौध जीवित नहीं रह पाते। लेकिन कल्पतरू वृक्ष मित्र संगठन से जुड़े लोगों ने संकल्प लिया कि जो भी पौधे रोपित करेंगे तो उनकी देखभाल भी करेंगे। कुछ ही साल में सबके प्रयासों से आज हजारों पौधें जीवित हैं।

अलग-अलग विभागों में हैं सेवारत

टीम में शामिल लोगों में राज्य कर अधिकारी रामनगर मितेश्वर आनंद, चीफ मैनेजर पीएनबी (वर्तमान में एजीएम मेरठ मंडल) प्रभास चंद्र, डा. अनुपम शुक्ला, डा. अजय पांडे, रमेश बिष्ट, कौशिक मिश्रा, अजय मिश्रा (सभी प्रवक्ता), वरिष्ठ शोध अधिकारी रामेन्द्र ओझा, सब इंस्पेक्टर डिप्टी सिंह, कांस्टेबल हेमंत सिंह, पीडब्ल्यूडी कर्मी विजय सिंह ने पर्यावरण प्रेमियों के साथ मिलकर यह अनुकरणीय कार्य कर दिखाया है।

सेवानिवृत्त लोग भी पीछे नहीं

केवल सेवारत ही नही बल्कि कई रिटायर्ड कार्मिक भी इनके साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर साथ देते हैं। बीएसएनएल से एसडीओ पद से सेवानिवृत्त बीएस डंगवाल, रिटायर्ड प्रधानाचार्य कुबेर अधिकारी, अभियंता आरएस भंडारी, एसबीआई से सेवानिवृत चीफ मैनेजर दीवान नयाल, रिटायर्ड वन अधिकारी बुद्धि सिंह नेगी, एक्स सर्विस मैन भुवन डंगवाल आदि शामिल हैं।

कई प्रजातियों के लगाए पौधे

राज्य कर अधिकारी मितेश्वर बताते हैं कि पौधरोपण करते समय स्थानीय जैव विविधता को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता दी जाती है। अब तक लगाए गए पौधों में नीम, पीपल, बेलपत्र, जामुन, बरगद, अर्जुन, कंजू, सेमल, रुद्राक्ष, कनेर, गुड़हल, पुत्रंजीवा, बकैन, पाकड़, गूलर, मौलश्री, तिमल, बेर, पनियाला, सीता अशोक, झींगन, सहजन, पडाल, हल्दू, बड़हल, हरड़, बहेड़ा, सीरस, बेड़ू, आम, आंवला, अमलतास, बिसतेंदू, गुलमोहर, टिटमीरा आदि प्रजातियां प्रमुख हैं।

खुद करते हैं पौधों की निराई-गुड़ाई

इनके द्वारा लगाए गए पौधों की निरंतर देखभाल की जाती है जिसमें पौधों की निराई-गुड़ाई, तारबाड़, खाद पानी जैसे कार्य शामिल हैं।

वृक्षमित्र नाम से है पहचान

शासकीय दायित्वों का निर्वहन करने के साथ-साथ बाकी समय प्रकृति और पर्यावरण की सेवा में लगाने के कारण अब लोग इन्हें वृक्ष मित्र के नाम से पुकारने लगे हैं। यह सभी लोग पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए उल्लेखनीय कार्य कर रही कल्पतरु संस्था से जुड़े हैं।
