देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में प्रसव के बाद मां और कन्या शिशु की देखभाल को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सरकार की ओर से मुख्यमंत्री महालक्ष्मी योजना शुरू की जा रही है। महिला सशक्तीकरण एवं बाल विकास राज्यमंत्री रेखा आर्य के मुताबिक मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत 30 जून को इस योजना का शुभारंभ करेंगे। योजना के शुभारंभ पर 16929 लाभार्थियों को कार्यक्रम से वर्चुअल रूप से जोड़ते हुए उन्हें महालक्ष्मी किट प्रदान किए जाएंगे।

उन्होंने कहा कि समाज में व्याप्त लैंगिक असमानता की वजह से आम तौर पर यह देखा जाता है कि कन्या का जन्म होने पर जज्चा-बच्चा की देखभाल में उपेक्षा होती है। जबकि मां बनने का क्षण विलक्षण है और कन्या को जन्म देना विलक्षण होने के साथ ही महिला में आत्मरिक्तता की भी पूर्ति करता है। विभागीय राज्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रसव के बाद मां और कन्या शिशु की देखभाल को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए इस योजना को शुरू किया जा रहा है। योजना के तहत प्रसव के बाद महिलाओं को प्रथम दो बालिकाओं के जन्म पर एक-एक किट एवं जुड़वा बच्चियों के जन्म पर महिला को एक और बच्चों को अलग-अलग दो किट दिए जाएंगे। 

आवेदन के लिए जरूरी शर्तें 
आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों पर पंजीकरण, माता-शिशु रखा कार्ड की प्रति, संस्थागत प्रसव प्रमाण पत्र, यदि घर पर प्रसव हुआ है तो आंगनबाड़ी या आशा वर्कर द्वारा जारी प्रमाण पत्र, परिवार रजिस्टर की प्रति, पहली, दूसरी या जुड़वा कन्या के जन्म की स्वप्रमाणित घोषणा, नियमित सरकारी, अर्द्धसरकारी सेवक एवं आयकरदाता न होने का प्रमाण पत्र।

प्रदेश में पात्र लाभार्थियों तक योजना का लाभ पहुंचे इसके लिए लोगों को इसके प्रति जागरूक करने की जरूरत है। योजना के शुभारंभ पर अधिक से अधिक लोग वर्चुअल रूप से कार्यक्रम से जुड़कर पात्र लाभार्थियों तक योजना का लाभ पहुंचाएं।
