नैनीताल। तीन जिलों चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग और उत्तरकाशी के स्थानीय निवासियों के लिए एक जुलाई से चारधाम यात्रा शुरू करने के तीरथ कैबिनेट के निर्णय पर हाई कोर्ट की रोक के आदेश को चुनौती देने के लिए सरकार सोमवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल कर सकती है। इस सिलसिले में शासन ने वंशजा शुक्ला को अधिवक्ता नामित कर दिया है।
कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के मामले कम होने पर सरकार ने एक जुलाई से चारधाम यात्रा शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया। पहले चरण में तीन जिलों के स्थानीय निवासियों को कोरोना जांच की निगेटिव रिपोर्ट के साथ अपने-अपने जिले के धामों में एक जुलाई से दर्शन की अनुमति देने का निर्णय लिया गया। इसके बाद 11 जुलाई से राज्य के सभी जिलों और फिर परिस्थिति की समीक्षा कर अन्य राज्यों के लिए यात्रा खोलने पर सहमति बनी थी।
हालांकि, इस बीच हाई कोर्ट ने चारधाम यात्रा से संबंधित मामले में सरकार को पुख्ता व्यवस्था करने के साथ ही विस्तृत एसओपी तैयार करने के निर्देश दिए। इस कड़ी में प्रस्तुत की गई एसओपी को कोर्ट ने अस्वीकार कर दिया था। साथ ही चारधाम यात्रा शुरू करने के कैबिनेट के निर्णय पर रोक लगाने के आदेश पारित किए।
इसके बाद उत्तराखंड सरकार ने यात्रा स्थगित करने का निर्णय लेते हुए कोविड कर्फ्यू की एसओपी से भी यात्रा शुरू करने का उल्लेख हटा दिया था। हाईकोर्ट के आदेश का अध्ययन करने के बाद सरकार ने इसे सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती देने का निर्णय लिया था।
