चम्पावत : उत्‍तराखंड में सवान झूमकर बरस रहा है। भारी बारिश के कारण मैदान की नदियों का जलस्‍तर बढ़ रहा है तो पहाड़ों का सफर खतरनाक हो गया है। चंपावत जिले में चार दिन से लगातार हो रही बारिश आफत मुसीबत बन गई है। एनएच और ग्रामीण सड़कें बंद होने से लोगों को परेशानी झेलनी पड़ रही है। कई आवासीय मकानों के आंगन व सुरक्षा दीवारें क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई हैं।

मंगलवार की शाम उफनाते नाले में बही पाड़ासों सेरा गांव की महिला का अभी तक सुराग नहीं लगा है। बारिश से रेसक्यू में दिक्कत आ रही है। इधर एनएच बंद होने से निजी वाहनों में यात्रा कर रहे दर्जनों यात्रियों को सड़क पर ही वाहनों में रात गुजारनी पड़ी। जबकि रोडवेज बसों में फंसे यात्रियों को सामाजिक संगठनों के सहयोग से पुलिस और प्रशासन रात में ही चम्पावत लाकर रहने खाने की व्यवस्था की। अभी भी सड़क पर फंसे दर्जनों यात्री सड़क खुलने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं। हालांकि अब टनकपुर के ककरालीगेट और चम्पावत से वाहनों को आगे नहीं जाने दिया जा रहा है।

यूं तो जिले में चार दिन से लगातार बारिश हो रही है। लेकिन मंगलवार से हो रही मूसलधार बारिश से जिले के पर्वतीय व मैदानी इलाकों में व्यापक नुकसान हुआ है। मंगलवार को बंद टनकपुर-पिथौरागढ़ हाइवे बुधवार को भी नहीं खुल पाया। मंगलवार की रात बस स्टेशन चम्पावत एवं सड़क पर फंसे 300 से अधिक यात्रियों को व्यापार संघ, नगर पालिका, प्रशासन एवं विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों से जुड़े लोगों ने भोजन कराया और उनके रहने की व्यवस्था की। अधिकांश को नगर पालिका के रेन बसेरे में ठहराया गया। जबकि निजी वाहनों में फंसे दो दर्जन से अधिक यात्रियों को वाहनों में बैठकर ही रात गुजारनी पड़ी। प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी उपाध्यक्ष धीरेंद्र प्रताप एवं देवभूमि पलायन एवं बेरोजगारी उन्मूलन समिति के दो अन्य सदस्य भी देर रात तक स्वाला के पास फंसे रहे।

बुधवार की सुबह प्रशासन ने रात भर फंसे यात्रियों को रेसक्यू कर चम्पावत भेज दिया है। इधर पूर्णागिरि मार्ग पर हनुमान चट्टी के पास गिरी चट्टान को तीसरे दिन भी नहीं हटाया जा सका है। पूर्णागिरि के भैरव मंदिर के पास श्रद्धालुओं के 15 वाहन तीन दिन से फंसे हुए हैं। टनकपुर और बनबसा में शारदा नदी का जल स्तर बढऩे से आस-पास रह रहे लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर जाने की सलाह दी गई है। टनकपुर और बनबसा में जल भराव के कारण लोगों को परेशानी उठानी पड़ रही है। इधर बंद पड़े एनएच को खोलने का काम लगातार जारी है। जिले की 18 ग्रामीण सड़कें भी मलबा आने से बंद हैं। कई गांवों में विद्युत और संचार व्यवस्था चरमरा गई है। 

एडीएम चम्पावत टीएस मर्तोलिया ने बताया कि बारिश के चलते जिले में आपदा की घटनाएं लगातार सामने आ रही हैं। प्रशासन स्थिति पर नजर बनाए हुए है। एनएच समेत सभी बंद पड़ी ग्रामीण सड़कों को खोलने का काम जारी है। लगातार हो रही बारिश और बोल्डर गिरने के कारण एनएच पर गिरा मलबा हटाने में दिक्कत हो रही है। एनएच पर फंसे यात्रियों का सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया है। शीघ्र एनएच को सुचारू कर दिया जाएगा।
