हरिद्वार: महानगर व्यापार मंडल ने प्रदेश सरकार से चारधाम यात्रा आरंभ करने की मांग की है। महानगर व्यापार मंडल ने सरकार से कहा कि वह इस मामले में गंभीरता दिखाए। व्यापार मंडल के जिलाध्यक्ष सुनील सेठी के नेतृत्व में पर्यटन से जुड़े व्यापारियों ने बुधवार को मांग को लेकर रोडवेज बस अड्डे के पास एकत्रित होकर चारधाम यात्रा शुरू न करने पर सरकार के खिलाफ रोष जताया। इस पर अध्यक्ष सुनील सेठी ने कहा कि सरकार को अब चारधाम यात्रा पर गंभीर होना चाहिए, कहा कि जिनके पास आरटीपीसीआर रिपोर्ट हो और जिन्हें वैक्सीन दोनों डोज लग गई हों। उत्तराखंड और उत्तराखंड के बाहर के ऐसे श्रद्धालुओं के लिए सरकार को चारधाम यात्रा की अनुमति देनी चाहिए। महानगर व्यापार मंडल अध्यक्ष सुनील सेठी ने आरोप लगाया कि चारधाम यात्रा पर कोर्ट में समय रहते सरकार अपना पक्ष नहीं रख पाई और न ही मजबूत पैरवी करते हुए सरकार ने चारधाम यात्रा शुरू करने में ही कोई दिलचस्पी दिखाई। सरकार के ढुलमुल रवैये के कारण पर्यटन से जुड़े पूरे गढ़वाल क्षेत्र के हर छोटे-बड़े व्यापारी को भारी नुकसान उठाना पड़ रहा है। व्यापारियों को भ्रमित किया जा रहा है। महानगर अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र चौरसिया, टैक्सी स्टैंड यूनियन अध्यक्ष नाथीराम सैनी, पूर्व प्रधान धर्मपाल सिंह ने कहा कि व्यवस्थाएं बनाकर चारधाम यात्रा शुरु करनी चाहिए, यह उत्तराखंड की आर्थिकी की रीढ़ होने के साथ-साथ उत्तराखंड की पहचान भी है। विश्व के करोड़ों सनातनियों की आस्था से जुड़ी इस यात्राओं पर सरकार की उदासीनता राज्य और राज्य के निवासियों-व्यापारियों के लिए ठीक नहीं है। विरोध जताने वालों में मुख्य रूप से गगन दीप दामिर, गौरव गौतम, रवि जोशी, मुकेश कुच्छल, सचिन वर्मा, उमेश चौधरी आदि प्रमुख थे।
