देहरादून। सीडीएस जनरल बिपिन रावत की बीते रोज हेलीकाप्टर दुर्घटना में आकस्मिक निधन पर उनके पैतृक गांव उत्‍तराखंड के पौड़ी जिले के द्वारीखाल ब्लाक की ग्रामसभा बिरमोली के तोकग्राम सैंणा में ग्रामीणों ने शोक व्‍यक्‍त किया। सीडीएस जनरल बिपिन रावत के चाचा भरत सिंह रावत ने बताया कि वह हमारे बहुत करीब थे और जल्द ही यहां आने वाले थे।

तमिलनाडु के कुन्नूर में हेलीकाप्टर हादसे में चीफ आफ डिफेंस स्टाफ जनरल बिपिन रावत और पत्नी मधुलिका समेत 11 सैन्य अफसरों के आकस्मिक निधन का समाचार सुनकर गढ़वाल विश्वविद्यालय की कुलपति प्रो. अन्नपूर्णा नौटियाल भावुक हो गई। उन्होंने बताया कि एक दिसंबर को ही सीडीएस बिपिन रावत गढ़वाल विवि के दीक्षा समारोह में बतौर विशिष्ट अतिथि शामिल हुए थे, जिसकी फोटो उन्होंने बुधवार सुबह व्हाट्सएप के जरिये बिपिन रावत को भेजी थी। कहा कि दोपहर में जब उनके हादसे के बारे में जाना तो स्तब्ध रह गई।

कुलपति प्रो. अन्नपूर्णा नौटियाल ने कहा कि, सीडीएस बिपिन रावत का निधन देश के लिए बहुत बड़ी क्षति है। बीते एक दिसंबर को दीक्षा समारोह में शामिल होकर उन्होंने लगभग चार घंटे तक छात्रों और फैकल्टियों से संवाद कर सबका दिल जीत लिया था। कुलपति ने कहा कि जनरल बिपिन रावत के साथ वार्ता में छात्रों और फैकल्टियों को आगे बढऩे की प्रेरणा मिली। वह विवि छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए एक रोल हैं। विवि एकेडमिक सेंटर के सभागार में कुलपति प्रो. अन्नपूर्णा नौटियाल के साथ वार्ता में जनरल बिपिन रावत ने विश्वविद्यालय के विकास में अपने स्तर से हरसंभव सहयोग करने की बात भी कही थी।

विभिन्न संगठनों ने स्थगित किए अपने कार्यक्रम

सीडीएस जनरल बिपिन रावत के आकस्मिक निधन के चलते राज्य के तमाम राजनीतिक, कर्मचारी और सामाजिक संगठनों ने गुरुवार के अपने कार्यक्रम, धरना-प्रदर्शन और विरोध रैलियों को स्थगित कर दिया है तमिलनाडु के कुन्नूर में हेलीकाप्टर हादसे में दिवंगत हुए जनरल रावत, उनकी पत्नी व अन्य 11 सैन्य अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए इंटक व एनएसयूआइ ने विधानसभा कूच स्थगित कर दिया है। इंटक के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष हीरा सिंह बिष्ट और एनएसयूआइ के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मोहन भंडारी ने इसकी पुष्टि की। पुरानी पेंशन बहाली संगठन ने भी अपने एक सप्ताह तक के सभी कार्यक्रम व प्रदर्शन स्थगित कर दिए हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी का विधानसभा घेराव का कार्यक्रम भी स्थगित हो गया है। इसी तरह जल संस्थान के कर्मचारियों ने भी अपना धरना स्थगित कर दिया है।

उधर, प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी की आज होने वाली विभिन्न बैठक भी टाल दी गई हैं। इसकी पुष्टि कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गणोश गोदियाल ने की। उत्तराखंड राज्य आंदोलनकारी मंच ने भी आज का अपना विधानसभा कूच स्थगित करने का फैसला किया है।
