रुड़की। हरिद्वार जिले के रुड़की में सिविल लाइंस कोतवाली क्षेत्र स्थित आदर्श नगर कालोनी में चोरों ने दुर्गा मंदिर के गेट का ताला तोड़ चोरी की घटना को अंजाम दिया। चोरों ने मंदिर में देवी दुर्गा की मूर्त्ति पर लगा चांदी का छत्र (करीब 400 ग्राम वजन) तांबे का नाग और दानपात्र चोरी कर लिया।

पुलिस के मुताबिक दानपात्र में करीब 80 हजार रुपए की दानराशि होने का अनुमान है। सोमवार सुबह चोरी की जानकारी होने पर पुजारी ने इस मामले की तहरीर कोतवाली पुलिस को दी गई। सिविल लाइन कोतवाली पुलिस घटनास्थल के आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे खंगाल रही है।
