हल्द्वानी: कुमाऊं के हजारों लोगों के लिए अच्छी खबर है। इलेक्ट्रिक ट्रेन का उनका सपना आज साकार हो जाएगा। शाम पांच बजे लालकुआं-भोजीपुरा रेल खंड पर मंगलवार को इलेक्ट्रिक ट्रेन का गति परीक्षण होगा। सरकारें कई सालों से कुमाऊं में इलेक्ट्रिक रेल चलाने की योजना बना रही थी। लेकिन कोई न कोई अडंगा आने पर यह पूरा नहीं हो पा रहा था। वर्तमान भाजपा सरकार में इलेक्ट्रिक रेल के लिए प्रयास तेज हो गए थे।
लालकुआं से भोजीपुरा तक इलेक्ट्रिक वायर बिछाने का काम शुरू हो गया था। रेल लाइन की जद में आने वाले सैंकड़ों अतिक्रमणकारियों को भी वहां से हटा दिया गया था। रेलवे के अधिकारियों के अनुसार भोजीपुरा-लालकुआं रेल खंड पर 65 किलो मीटर विद्युतीकरण का कार्य पूरा हो चुका है। मंगलवार यानी आज रेल संरक्षा आयुक्त पूर्वोत्तर मंडल मो. लतीफ खान व रेल प्रबंधक आशुतोष पंत नव विद्युतीकृत रेल खंड का निरीक्षण करने 11 बजे पहुंचेंगे। छह घंटे बाद यानी शाम पांच बजे इस ट्रेन का गति परीक्षण किया जाएगा।
लाइन के पास जाने पर करंट का खतरा
रेलवे अधिकारियों के अनुसार इलेक्ट्रिक रेल में करंट हाई वोल्टेज 50 हर्ट्ज करंट प्रवाहित होगा। इसकी चपेट में आने से बचने का कोई चांस नहीं रहता। रेल अधिकारियों ने लोगों से अनुरोध किया है कि पटरी के आसपास न जाएं। साथ ही यह भी कहा है कि मंगलवार की शाम पांच बजे न तो खुद पटरी पर रहें और न ही अपने मवेशियों को जाने दें। रेल के परीक्षण से किसी को भी खतरा हो सकता है।
