हल्द्वानी : महिला अस्पताल में गर्भवतियों को 15 जून से राहत मिलने लगेगी। छुट्टी पर गए रेडियोलाजिस्ट लौट आएंगे, लेकिन डा. सुशीला तिवारी राजकीय चिकित्सालय में अल्ट्रासाउंड कक्ष का ताला कब खुलेगा। फिलहाल कुछ नहीं पता।

महिला अस्पताल में कार्यरत रेडियोलाजिस्ट डा. कुमुद पंत स्वास्थ्य खराब होने के चलते अवकाश पर थे। इसकी वजह से अस्पताल में पहुंचने वाली गर्भवती की अल्ट्रासाउंड जांच नहीं हो पा रही थी। स्वास्थ्य विभाग वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था करने में भी नाकाम रहा। अब डा. पंत 15 जून को ज्वाइन करेंगे।

इससे दूर-दराज से पहुंचने वाली गर्भवतियों को राहत मिलेगी। हाालंकि डा. पंत को गुरुवार को कोटाबाग अस्पताल में अल्ट्रासाउंड के जाना होता है। उस दिन फिर महिला अस्पताल में जांच के लिए पहुंचने वाली महिलाओं को या तो निराश लौटना पड़ेगा या फिर दूसरे दिन का इंतजार करना होगा। इधर, राजकीय मेडिकल कालेज के डा. सुशीला तिवारी राजकीय चिकित्सालय में संविदा पर एक रेडियोलाजिस्ट का चयन हुआ था।

डाक्टर के ज्वाइन करने की अंतिम तिथि 17 जून थी, लेकिन अभी तक ज्वाइन नहीं किया है। अस्पताल में पिछले तीन महीने से एक भी रेडियोलाजिस्ट नहीं है। अल्ट्रासाउंड कक्ष पर ताला लटका है। यह मामला चिकत्सा शिक्षा विभाग के निदेशक, सचिव से लेकर मंत्री के संज्ञान में हैं। इसके बावजूद कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हो रही है।
