पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति और योग गुरु स्वामी रामदेव ने कहा कि जब भारत आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मना रहा है, तब प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारतीय शिक्षा बोर्ड का गठन कर ऐतिहासिक कार्य कर दिया है। 1835 में जो मैकाले पाप करके गया था, उसको साफ करने का कार्य पंतजलि भारतीय शिक्षा बोर्ड के माध्यम से करने जा रहा है। अब भारत में बच्चों का मानस भारतीयता के अनुसार तैयार किया जाएगा।

पतंजलि योगपीठ के महामंत्री आचार्य बालकृष्ण के जन्मदिन को जड़ी-बूटी दिवस के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है। गुरुवार को राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह और मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी समेत कई कैबिनेट मंत्री कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे। पतंजलि विवि के सभागार में आचार्य बालकृष्ण के जन्मोत्सव में चल रहे पारंपरिक भारतीय चिकित्सा आधुनिकीकरण, लोक स्वास्थ्य एवं औद्योगिक परिप्रेक्ष्य विषय पर चल रहे अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन के तीसरे दिन योग गुरु बाबा रामदेव ने कहा कि आयुर्वेद सबसे प्राचीन विज्ञान है। ऋषियों की ओर से प्रतिपादित इस ज्ञान की उपेक्षा करना और इसे कमतर आंकना अज्ञानता है।

पतंजलि अनुसंधान संस्थान ने अपने साक्ष्य-आधारित अनुसंधान को दुनिया के प्रमुख शोध पत्रिका में प्रकाशित करवाकर इसे दूर करने का प्रयास किया है। उन्होंने आयुर्वेद को रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को बढ़ाने और शुद्धिकरण के लिए सर्वाधिक उपयोगी पद्धति बताया है।  

उन्होंने आधुनिक चिकित्सा वैज्ञानिकों के प्रयास की सराहना करते हुए चिकित्सकों को देवदूत की तरह बताया। शोध पत्रिका योगायु के प्रथम अंक का विमोचन करते हुए उन्होंने वैज्ञानिकों के पुरुषार्थ से तैयार किए गए विश्व-भेषज संहिता के 51 खंड सहित कुल 80 अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के ग्रंथों की संक्षिप्त जानकारी प्रदान की। आचार्य बालकृष्ण ने कहा कि गौरवपूर्ण अतीत को स्मरण कराने में योग गुरु स्वामी रामदेव का विराट योगदान है। 

कोरोना में 89 फीसदी लोगों ने किया आयुष विधाओं का प्रयोग
सम्मलेन में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पहुंचे आयुष मंत्रालय के सचिव वैद्य राजेश कोटेचा ने पतंजलि में चल रहे अनुसंधान कार्यों की सराहना की। उन्होंने आयुष मंत्रालय एवं पतंजलि योगपीठ की ओर से यहां एक सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की स्थापना के बारे में भी जानकारी दी। कहा कि भारत में कोरोना काल के दौरान 89 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा लोगों ने अपनी स्वास्थ्य रक्षा के लिए आयुष की विभिन्न विधाओं का प्रयोग किया। एम्स भोपाल के अध्यक्ष प्रो. वाईके गुप्ता ने कहा कि पतंजलि में चल रहे अनुसंधान पूरी दुनिया का मार्गदर्शन करेंगे।

एम्स ऋषिकेश के निदेशक प्रो. मीनू सिंह ने बताया कि साक्ष्य-आधारित चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में पतंजलि ने एक बड़ा मुकाम हासिल किया है। नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कैंसर प्रिवेंशन एंड रिसर्च आईसीएमआर के निदेशक प्रो. शालिनी सिंह ने कहा कि कैंसर के उत्पन्न होने में नौ प्रतिशत अहितकारी भोजन का योगदान होता है। एम्स दिल्ली के प्रो. केके दीपक ने योग व ध्यान का मस्तिष्किीय तरंगों पर पड़ने वाले प्रभावों को साझा किया। पतंजलि अनुसंधान के डॉ. ऋषभ देव ने लिवर संबंधित बीमारियों के निदान में पतंजलि की ओर से निर्मित दिव्य सर्वकल्प क्वाथ एवं लिवोग्रिट को बहुत उपयोगी बताया।
