देहरादून। राजधानी दून से पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों की तरफ यात्रा करने वाले लोगों के लिए अच्छी खबर है। रानीपोखरी में बहुचर्चित निर्माणाधीन जाखन पुल बनकर तैयार हो गया। 20 अगस्त या इसके आसपास पुल को यातायात के लिए खोल दिया जाएगा। रिकार्ड समय में तैयार हुए इस पुल पर इन दिनों रोड सेफ्टी और लोड टेस्टिंग का काम अंतिम चरण में है।

वर्ष 1964 में रानीपोखरी में जाखन नदी के ऊपर बना पुल 57 साल बाद बीते वर्ष 27 अगस्त को भारी बारिश के चलते उफान पर आई जाखन नदी के वेग में टूटकर दो हिस्सों में बंट गया था। इसके बाद यहां कई दिनों तक यातायात बाधित रहा। तमाम औपचारिकताओं के बाद सात जनवरी को नए पुल का निर्माण शुरू हुआ था।

निर्माण की जिम्मेदारी हिमालयन कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी को दी गई। आमतौर पर ऐसे पुल के निर्माण में 18 से 24 माह का समय लग जाता है, लेकिन इस पुल निर्माण के मामले में छह माह की शर्त जोड़ी गई थी। अधिशासी अभियंता रचना थपलियाल ने बताया कि पुल का निर्माण जुलाई के अंतिम सप्ताह में पूरा हो गया था।

इसके बाद रंग रोगन के साथ डामरीकरण का कार्य भी पूरा कर लिया गया है। इन दिनों रोड सेफ्टी के साथ लोड टेस्टिंग का कार्य किया जा रहा है। तीन स्पान की टेस्टिंग हो चुकी है जबकि चार स्पान की टेस्टिंग इन दिनों चल रही है। 20 से पहले यह काम भी पूरा कर लिया जाएगा।
पुल निर्माण में खर्च
पुल निर्माण के लिए केंद्रीय सड़क निधि से 1618.55 लाख रुपये खर्च किए गए जबकि पुल के दोनों तरफ बनने वाली एप्रोच रोड के लिए राज्य योजना के तहत 342.56 लाख रुपये खर्च किए गए। इसमें रानीपोखरी की तरफ से 79 मीटर जबकि देहरादून की तरफ से 166 मीटर एप्रोच रोड बनाई गई है।

तीन-तीन शिफ्ट में रात-दिन चला निर्माण कार्य
पुल निर्माण के साथ जब छह माह में कार्य पूरा करने की शर्त जोड़ी गई तो कई कंपनियों ने हाथ पीछे खींच लिए। इसके बाद हिमालयन कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी ने इस चुनौती को स्वीकार किया। कंपनी के मैनेजर सुभाष चौहान ने बताया कि पुल का निर्माण समय से पूरा करने के लिए तीन-तीन शिफ्ट में कार्य किया गया। कई बार पूरी-पूरी रात काम किया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि काम को समय से पूरा करने के साथ निर्माण की गुणवत्ता बनाए रखने की भी चुनौती थी।

– एप्रोच रोड की लंबाई 245 मीटर
– 27 अगस्त, 2021 को टूट गया था पुल
– सात जनवरी से काम शुरू
