राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू आठ दिसंबर को दो दिवसीय दौरे पर देहरादून आ रही हैं। इस दौरान वह यहां द प्रेसीडेंट बॉडीगार्ड स्टेट स्थित ‘आशियाना’ में रात्रि विश्राम करेंगी। राष्ट्रपति आठ व नौ दिसंबर को देहरादून में रहेंगी। उनका प्रस्तावित कार्यक्रम शासन और संबंधित संस्थाओं को मिल चुका है।

राष्ट्रपति मुर्मू आठ दिसंबर को देहरादून पहुंचेंगी। इसके बाद वह राजभवन जाएंगी। रात को वह आशियाना में विश्राम करेंगी। नौ दिसंबर को राष्ट्रपति पहले लाल बहादुर शास्त्री प्रशासनिक अकादमी मसूरी में भावी आईएएस अफसरों को संबोधित करेंगी।

इसके बाद दिन में दून विश्वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शामिल होंगी। सोमवार को राष्ट्रपति के दौरे के मद्देनजर शासन स्तर पर तैयारियों की बैठक हुई। इसमें सुरक्षा से लेकर सभी व्यवस्थाएं पुख्ता करने के निर्देश दिए गए।

दून विश्वविद्यालय का दीक्षांत समारोह नौ दिसंबर को होगा। इसमें राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शामिल होंगी। विवि की कुलपति प्रो. सुरेखा डंगवाल ने बताया कि राष्ट्रपति के दौरे की तैयारियां तेजी से चल रही हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि विवि के समारोह में करीब 650 छात्र-छात्राओं को डिग्री दी जाएगी। वहीं करीब 36 को गोल्ड मेडल व 16 को पीएचडी अवॉर्ड मिलेंगे।
