हरिद्वार: पतंजलि योगपीठ में इलाज कराने पहुंचे एक मरीज ने तीसरी मंजिल से कूदकर खुदकुशी कर ली। मरीज एटा उत्तर प्रदेश का निवासी बताया जा रहा है। शुक्रवार सुबह हुई इस घटना से पतंजलि योगपीठ में हड़कंप मच गया है।

पतंजलि के सिक्योरिटी ऑफिसर की सूचना पर पुलिस ने शव कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भिजवा दिया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक, पतंजलि योगपीठ के सिक्योरिटी सुपरवाइजर सुभाष वर्मा ने पुलिस को सूचना दी कि एक व्यक्ति ने तीन मंजिल से छलांग लगा दी है, उसे एंबुलेंस से जिला अस्पताल भेजा गया है।

जिस पर बहादराबाद थानाध्यक्ष नितेश शर्मा मौके पर पहुंचे और घटना की जानकारी जुटाई। पता चला कि पतंजलि योगपीठ में एटा मैनपुरी उत्तर प्रदेश निवासी राजीव कुमार उम्र 42 वर्ष का मानसिक बीमारी का इलाज चल रहा था।

उनकी पत्नी नीरज को लेकर इलाज कराने पतंजलि आई थी। शुक्रवार की सुबह राजीव ने छत पर चढ़कर नीचे छलांग लगा दी। सिर में चोट लगने के कारण वह लहूलुहान हो गया। आनन-फानन में उसे एंबुलेंस से जिला अस्पताल ले जाया गया। जहां डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।

बहादराबाद थानाध्यक्ष नितेश शर्मा ने बताया कि मरीज के कई साल से दिमागी रूप से बीमार होने की जानकारी मिली है। स्वजन अक्सर उसे इलाज कराने पतंजलि योगपीठ लेकर आते थे। शव का पोस्टमार्टम कराया जा रहा है।
